Pupils whizzed from country to country as they took part in an airline day at Archdeacon Cambridge’s Church of England Primary School.
With their suitcases packed, children “flew” to various destinations and experienced check-in and security checks, as well as an in-flight experience.
Staff, parents, school governors and pupil volunteers from Orleans Park School all took on roles in Archdeacon Airlines to ensure all flights departed on time.
The role play took place in the lead up to the school’s global-themed week where pupils will study cultures around the world.
Head Janet Foster said: “The children really enjoyed it, it was wonderful to see them taking responsibility for themselves =and their luggage and fully engaging in the whole experience.”
