A fourth man has been arrested in connection with the death of a man who was hit by a van outside a Hampton pub on Sunday evening.
American Charles Hickox, 53, was involved in a collision outside the Cardinal Wolsey, in Hampton Court Road, at about 7.25pm and was pronounced dead at the scene at 8.33pm.
The 45-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of perverting the course of justice on September 10 and was bailed to return later this month.
Rostam Notarki, owner of the pub and restaurant, appeared at Wimbledon Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, charged with manslaughter and perverting the course of justice.
He was remanded in custody to appear at Kingston Crown Court on September 24.
A 19-year-old man is currently on police bail pending further enquiries and a 49-year-old man who was originally bailed has been released without charge.
