If you are feeling brave and want to see bats flying in the night sky in their natural habit, head to the WWT London Wetland Centre.

The Barnes centre has seven different species of bat that hunt there at night, making it one of the best places in London to spot the fascinating creatures.

Bat walks give people the chance to see the flying mammals and their aerial acrobatics along with learning more about them through talks with a bat expert.

The evening sessions start out in the centre’s theatre before heading out into the open with bat detectors to help you identify the creatures that are swooping around and to listen to them as they hunt for food.
