NHS officials have hailed the success of Walk Richmond week, run by Hounslow and Richmond Community Healthcare Trust.
The campaign, which offered a number of free guided health walks and a free Zumba class aimed at encouraging local people to improve their health and general wellbeing, also promoted services run by the trust, such as LiveWell Richmond.
Health improvement manager Michael Hughes said: “It’s important that people have access to the right information and support that can help them realise the importance of physical activity.
“This event was about showing people it is as easy as literally taking a step to make simple changes to their lifestyle which can lead to significant improvements in their health.”
