Police are hunting a man who exposed himself to two women on trains, and have released pictures of someone they believe has information.

British Transport Police (BTP) released these images as part of an appeal to trace a man who allegedly carried out an indecent act in front of one woman and exposed himself to an elderly lady on South West Trains services last month.

A man exposed himself to a 30-year-old woman on the 6.52pm Waterloo to Weybridge service on March 15.

The man, who got on at Chiswick, sat in front of the woman and carried out an indecent act.

Officers are investigating another incident involving the same person on March 20 aboard the 2.48pm Twickenham to Waterloo service, when the man stood up to reach the luggage racks when the train reached Hounslow and showed his genitals to a 72-year-old woman.

Investigators are calling on the public to help identify the man pictured, who officers believe has key information.

Investigating officer PC Michael Willoughby said: “Unwanted sexual behaviour of any kind is not tolerated anywhere on the rail network and we take all reports seriously.

“If you recognise the man pictured, I’d urge you to come forward and speak to officers investigating the incident.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact British Transport Police on 0800 405040, or text 61016, quoting background SSUB/B6 of 10/04/14. Information can also be passed to the independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
