Residents of a cul-de-sac in Chessington are objecting to plans to put in a disabled parking bay for the family of a 12-year-old child.
An eight-signature petition has been handed in from Angus Close residents, who said there were not enough parking bays and suggested an alternative garage space nearby.
But two residents supporting the bay said the pavement near the garage could be unsafe.
Councillors will be asked to make a decision at Kingston’s south of the borough council next week.
They will also discuss a plan to build five new flats in Verona Drive, the extension of Castle Hill Primary School’s playground and an application from Cafe Leticia’s in North Parade to put three tables outside.
The meeting will take place on Wednesday, September 15, at 7.30pm at Southborough School.
