11:49am Wednesday 14th January 2009 in Kingston By Alita Howe
A new night bus will serve passengers in Kingston from June, it has been announced.
The N65, which currently runs from Ealing Broadway to Brook Street in Kingston, will be extended to serve Chessington and Hook from midnight under the new plans.
The new N65 will follow the route of the existing 71 service through Surbiton, Hook Road, Hook Junction, Chessington North, Moor Lane, Garrison Lane and ending at Chessington World of Adventures in Leatherhead Road.
The service will be operated by Transdev London United, which said there would be an additional bus on every hour during the day service, and a new fleet of buses for the route would arrive later this year.
