A man has been arrested for allegedly walking on the tracks at Surbiton station.
Officers were called to the station at 11.49pm yesterday to reports of a man was on the tracks.
On arrival, they arrested a 36-year-old man from Epsom on suspicion of trespass, a British Transport Police spokeswoman said.
The man is being held in custody.
