Clear, cold winter sun is expected across south west London and north east Surrey today, with the mercury not rising above six degrees Celsius.
Figures from the Met Office ruled out the chance of rain, but suggest wind may make the low levels feel even colder.
The trend looks to continue over the weekend with temperature expected to drop as low as three degrees Celsius on Saturday.
Pleasant but wintery conditions are set to continue into Sunday, with fog predicted across the region and lows of minus one.
