The offensive graffiti
An offensive graffiti message was spray painted on a path in Chessington at the weekend.
The words "rape a rider’s arse" were scrawled in large red letters under a bridge on the bridleway just off Moor Lane on Sunday.
The Metropolitan Police said it had not been told about the crude vandalism.
A Kingston Council spokeswoman said the message was removed first thing on Monday morning due to the offensive nature of the words.
