A man is in hospital with head injuries after a serious assault outside a Kingston pub last night.

Police were called to reports of a man collapsed in Clarence Street, near the Kings Tun Wetherspoon’s pub, just before 1am.

The 21-year-old victim was taken to hospital with head injuries and his condition is thought to be stable.
