The Poosaders – the anonymous Kingston kids fighting back against pet owners who refuse to clean up after their animals – have been out in force again this week.

The group were in the streets near Saint Agatha’s Church, spray-painting dog mess that had not been cleaned up.

One unidentified Poosader leader said the group has a three-stage plan.

The youngster said: “Stage one is to highlight the problem. Using eco-friendly biodegradable chalk spray, we are spraying mess to help the public avoid stepping in it, and also to highlight it to dog owners to encourage them to pick it up.

“Stage two is to get the community to start reporting offences they have seen and any description of dogs or owners not picking up.

“Stage three is fining owners who do not behave responsibly.”

If you have a problem with poo in your street, if no one else can help, and if you can find them, maybe you can contact the Poosaders.
