Firefighters freed a person trapped in their car after a crash on the A3 this morning.
The crash happened on the A3 between the Esher and Hook junctions.
Three pumps were sent from Leatherhead fire station just after 8am, and a spokesman said the crews were still there at about 10am.
He said: "At 9.10am we got a message through that one person has been removed."
A spokesman for South East Coast Ambulance Service said one ambulance was called to treat a man in his 30's who was suffering from neck pain following a collision.
The man was taken to St Peter's Hospital, Chertsey, as a priority, for neck and back pain.
It is not yet known how many cars were involved.
