A self help group is highlighting the needs of children with ME.
Richmond and Kingston ME Group is hosting a talk by Jane Colby and Dr Elizabeth Dowsett, who are the joint authors of a study that found the illness to be the most common cause of long-term school absence.
The group helped organise a demonstration at Westminster where about 100 people fell to the ground and lay silent and still to represent the brain and body collapse that ME inflicts on sufferers.
The event will be held at the Richard Mayo Centre, in Eden Street, Kingston, on Saturday, September 14, at 3pm.
