A nursery worker has denied assaulting a two-year-old boy.
Wesley Prigmore, 21, of Sutton Lane, Hounslow, appeared at Richmond Magistrates’ Court today charged with two counts of common assault on the tot.
The charges relate to an incident which took place on January 18, at a Twickenham nursery, where it is alleged Prigmore hit the boy with a ruler and smacked him on the head with a glove.
The nursery worker pleaded not guilty to both counts.
Prigmore was bailed to reappear at Richmond Magistrates' Court on March 24 when a trial date will be set.
His bail conditions include not supervising any child under the age of 10 without written consent and he must not contact the toddler or his parents.
