A blaze at a shop and office in Hounslow’s Bath Road has been put out by firefighters.
Traffic was diverted onto the A4 after the fire broke out at the three-storey building at 2.50pm today between Great West Road and Sutton Lane.
Four fire engines and around 20 firefighters were called to the scene and managed to extinguish the blaze by 3.38pm.
A spokesman for London Fire Brigade said the building’s first floor had been damaged.
Bath Road has now been reopened both ways.
