More than 1,000 residents lost their electricity supply this morning after a power cut.
A total of 1,382 homes in the London Road and Kingston Road area of Ewell and Bourne Hall Museum were affected after an electrical fault shortly after 11am.
Power was restored to 817 customers in under 5 minutes, a further 356 customers by 11.47am and the final 209 customers had supplies restored just after midday.
Traffic lights near to the Spring Tavern in Ewell were also knocked out.
A spokesperson for Epsom and Ewell Council said: "The power is back on at Bourne Hall.
"The various IT systems at Bourne Hall Museum reacted in the way that IT systems do when their power is abruptly cut but the team hopes that everything will be up and running within the next couple of hours.
"Traffic lights are out near the Spring Tavern and that has been reported to Surrey County Council."
