Leukaemia patient meets Kimberley Walsh
Shrek the musical welcomed a special guest to the show when an eight-year-old patient from the Royal Marsden came to watch.
Amy Beney from Bookham got to see the West End show and meet Princess Fiona (Kimberley Walsh) on February, 14.
Her mother won the tickets in a silent auction at the Royal Marsden’s Oak Centre for Children and Young People where Amy is being treated for Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia.
Amy was first treated when she was three years old and then again at the age of eight and she recently underwent a bone marrow transplant at the Royal Marsden.
Amy’s mother, Kirsty Beney said: "Shrek was fantastic, we all had a wonderful night and Amy was very excited to meet Kimberley and receive her goody bag."
