Epsom General Hospital has thanked international company Cargill for donating a sophisticated £7,000 pump to help its colorectal surgeons and gastroenterologists.

The firm - which produces food, agricultural, financial and industrial products - presented the insufflator to consultant radiologist Dr Chris George this week.

Jo Cooper, communication coordinator at Cargill, said: “Cargill is pleased to support Epsom General Hospital and it is rewarding to see that this equipment will be of benefit to many patients. As a local company, one of our focuses is to help improve the health and wellbeing of people within our community.”
