Efit of man hunted in connection with mobile phone robbery at Epsom Live event released

This is one of the men police are hunting for a mobile phone robbery.

Detectives have released an efit of a yob who targeted two 17-year-old boys close to Epsom Downs racecourse during the Epsom Live music event on July 8.

The robber and a second man stole the phones from their victims close to woods next to the concert venue between 11.05pm and 11.20pm.

Detective Constable Vicki Morris said: “Thankfully no-one was injured during the incident, but it was an unpleasant experience for the victims, so I am appealing to people to take a close look at the efit.”

Both robbers are in their late teens or early 20s.

The man in the efit is about 5ft 7ins, with pale skin and short dark hair. He spoke with a London accent, wore a white top with sleeves rolled up to the shoulders, dark shorts which came to just below his knees, and black trainers.

The second is white with tanned skin, and has short blond or light brown hair. He wore a grey V-neck top with dark trousers, and spoke with a southern accent.
