Epsom Downs may be world-renowned as the home of the Derby, but this Sunday competitive canines will take to a 50-metre racetrack for the 14th annual Terrier Derby.
From last year: Terrier crowned race winner at Epsom Downs Racecourse
Last year 60 tenacious terriers took to the racetrack on a dismally grey Sunday in August before Lyra, a Parson Jack Russell owned by Michelle Blackwell, eventually emerged victorious.
Registration costs £2 and begins at 12pm on Sunday, August 28, before the first race gets underway at 1pm. Entrance is free, but donations will be accepted for the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity.
