A baby, two dogs and four adults were led to safety from a terraced house this afternoon by firefighters and passers-by after fears a car fire would spread to the home.
Firefighters were called to Upper Court Road, Epsom, at about 5.10pm today, to a raging car fire.
There were fears it would spread to the houses nearby and the residents were led to safety by firefighters and members of the public.
No-one was hurt and everyone made it out safely before the blaze was extinguished a short time later.
Front windows were cracked due to the heat of the flames but the fire did not spread to the house, despite initial concerns.
Crews from Banstead and Epsom fire station were called to the fire at about 5.10pm this afternoon.
They left the house at about 6.10pm.

Eyewitness Harrison Breading, 15, said: "Everyone is OK. The fire brigade have left now.
"There is a baby upstairs."
Firefighters used two hose reels and two sets of breathing apparatus to put out the car fire.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
"Due to the rapid deployment and response, the fire did not spread to the house and the roof space, even though the windows had broken from the heat," said a spokesman from Epsom fire station.
"Everyone has got out, everyone is safe," he added.
