Epsom Derby winner Golden Horn is now settling in at Dallam Hall

Golden Horn was ridden to victory by Frankie Dettori at the 236th Derby on June 6, and also won this year’s Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe in Paris.

The thoroughbred was foaled in April 2012 and trained in Newmarket Suffolk, and went on to win six major races this year, including the Feilden Stakes at Newmarket and the Eclipse Stakes at Sandown Park in Esher.

Over the course of his career the three-year-old has made his owner Anthony Oppenheimer and trainer John Gosden more than £4m.

Golden Horn was retired to stud at breeders Dallham Hall in Newmarket on Tuesday, November 17.

Darley director of stallions Sam Bullard said: "We are very excited to add Golden Horn to our stud roster for 2016. "He is a great champion and we are privileged to have him stand here at Dalham Hall Stud."
