A man has been charged with drink-driving after a car smashed through the front of a Subway restaurant on Saturday night.
Marek Jankowski, 30, of Cox Lane, Chessington, was also charged with driving without due care and attention after the crash in Walton Road, East Molesey.
The black Dodge Caliber ploughed through the front door of the sandwich shop just after 11pm, while a silver Vauxhall Corsa went into the wall next to the shop.
The driver of the Corsa, a woman, suffered cuts and chest pains in the crash, police said.
Mr Jankowski is due to appear at Staines Magistrates' Court on August 12.
Subway staff did not pick up the phone when the Comet called today.
