Thieves have stolen a Vespa, moped, two motorcycles and a scooter from outside homes over the space of four days.

Police are investigating the thefts of secured bikes from different parts of Epsom between Thursday, June 11, and Sunday, June 14.

PC Lisa Betchley, from Epsom and Ewell Safer Neighbourhood Team, called on anyone who has been asked to buy vehicles "with a dubious background" to come forward.

She said: "We are following various lines of enquiry and due to the proximity and timings it is possible that these two-wheeled thefts are linked.

"We are keen to hear from anyone who saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area around the time these offence were committed."

Details of the thefts:

• A black and red Gilera Runner moped (registration plate MF52KFG) was taken from the driveway in Hawthorne Place between 11pm on Thursday, June 11, and 4am on Wednesday, 12 June.

• A blue and white Suzuki GSXR motorcycle (registration plate SW55ENP) was taken from a car park in Eastman Way between 12.30am on 10.15am on Sunday, June 14.

• A black and white Vespa T5 scooter (registration plate R32CGJ) was taken from outside a home in Stones Road between 8pm on Saturday, June 13, and 11 am on Sunday June, 14.

• A red Ducati 848 EVO motorcycle (registration plate BX60GHK) was taken from a driveway in Westcote Road between 12.40am and midday on Sunday, June 14.

• A Piaggio scooter was taken from Cromwell Road, Worcester Park between 7am on Saturday, June 13, and midday on Sunday, June 14. It was later abandoned at Wandgas Sports and Social Club's car park in Grafton Road.
