A centre for adults with learning disabilities has raised £220 for Comic Relief.

Swallowfields Care Centre in Alexandra Road, Epsom, held a cake sale, car wash and games at the home on Saturday.

Service users Paul and Lawrence raised money through a quarter mile sponsored cycle ride on Epsom Downs with support from staff.

Activities coordinator Jade Sibley said: "Not only did the fundraiser raise money and awareness for a great cause, it helps to enhance the service users skills and confidence through building a sense of community.

"All service users and staff would like to thank the families who attended and sponsored the fundraisers along with the members of the public who donated to have their car washed on the day."
