A woman in her 80s died last night in a fire in Epsom.
Firefighters were called to Mill Road, a residential road not far from Epsom Cinema, at about 11.50pm.

Roads were closed and were due to stay closed while an investigation into the fire took place.
Her next of kin have been told about her death.
Epsom and Ewell police tweeted this morning the fire was not believed to be connected to a series of fires in the area last week.

The Fire Brigade began a 24 hour strike at 7am over a dispute with the Government over pensions.
