Police will Tweet information about how the crime unfolded from 5.30pm today in an exercise dubbed a ‘Tweconstruction’.

But officers are yet to release any details about the jewellery taken from the women and a safe at their mansion which backs onto Kingswood Golf Course.

During the break-in Catherine Stiff, wife of millionaire Robert Stiff, was punched in the face and one of her daughters was attacked. Chloe and Katie Stiff run boutique RBYG in Banstead High Street.

Detective Inspector Paul Gordon said: "Appeals on social media have assisted with previous investigations and due to the amount of information and images we have collected as part of our enquiries we thought it would be a suitable platform.

"I am hopeful that the appeal this evening will result in further information coming to light and I urge anyone who thinks they may be able to assist with the investigation in any way to tune-in."
