Three teenagers were arrested after a group of young people caused a disturbance on Friday night.

Police were called to a takeaway shop in Tattenham Crescent, near Epsom Downs, at midnight and arrested a teenage boy on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

A teenage girl was arrested on suspicion of causing criminal damage and another teenager girl was arrested on suspicion of causing affray.

They were later released without charge because the victim did not want to make a formal allegation.

In a separate incident, a paramedic reported that they treated a man after an alleged assault in Tattenham Crescent at about 11.50pm the same night.

A police spokesman said: "Officers spoke to the man who did not want to make any formal allegation.

"Therefore no further action was taken."
