Hugs in the marketplace and a drumming workshop were just two of the highlights at Epsom’s mental health week.
Health writer Dr Max Pemberton and hymn-writer John Bell were among the speakers during the week organised by charity Love Me Love My Mind.
On Friday morning cheerful volunteers went out in the street and gave surprised shoppers hugs, cakes and balloons in Epsom market place.
Then on Saturday, children and adults enjoyed getting together to play the drums at a workshop at St Barnabas in Temple Road, Epsom.
Rev Sue Bull, from Love Me Love My Mind, said they had a record number of attendees at the week, now in its 7th year.
