A driver who allegedly knocked down a schoolgirl in a hit-and-run has been identified after an appeal by her family and police.
A pickup truck hit Chelsie, 13, in Tattenham Way, Tadworth, on her way home from the Beacon School at 3.15pm on Thursday, May 15.
Since the crash three months ago, her grandmother Christine and mother Jessica have not wavered in their determination to track down the driver who drove off.

Today Reigate and Banstead’s Safer Neighbourhood team announced on Facebook that the male driver of the vehicle has now been identified.
The team said: "Surrey Police would like to thank witnesses and members of the public who helped in the identification of the vehicle."
A police spokesman said they had spoken to a 27-year-old man in connection with the incident.
He said: "The man has been reported for failing to stop at the scene of an accident, failing to report an accident and driving without due care and attention."
Chelsie was left very shaken by the crash in which she cut her elbow and skinned her back but did not sustain lasting physical damage.
After the crash in May, her grandmother Christine vowed: "I’m going to do my darnedest to find them. You don’t leave a dog lying in the road, let alone a child."
A few weeks later she said: "We are still looking, we are not going to rest, we are going to be looking all the time."
