Volunteers were armed with litter pickers and bin bags for a clean-up in three areas on Saturday.
Litter pickers met at Bourne Hall in Ewell, Alexandra Recreation Ground car park in Epsom and Linden Bridge School in Worcester Park.
The spring clean was organised by the council and Councillor Clive Woodbridge, who spearheaded it, said there were about eight people at each location.

Coun Woodbridge said: "We each picked up about two bags each. It was a very worthwhile event and hopefully we can make this an annual fixture in the calendar."
