Boy racers are back

I HAD come to the understanding that the police had been cracking down on boy racers that congregate around Lakeside of a weekend.

So why then I am still hearing them, sometimes even up until 4am of a weekend?

To top it off the boy racers have even decided the weekend is not long enough and give us a Tuesday or Wednesday night show, also up until the early hours of the morning, with the soothing sounds of wheel spinning, screeching and revving.

I take it the police have forgotten all about them now? Surely I’m not the only one who hears it? – C BREWSTER, Cherwell Grove, South Ockendon.
