An elderly cyclist killed in a collision with a lorry last week in Walton has been named by Surrey Police.
Robert Cherry, 79, of Cardinal Drive, died after suffering a head injury following a collision between his pedal bike and a lorry carrying a skip.
Mr Cherry was taken by ambulance to St George’s Hospital in Tooting after the collision, but he later died in hospital.
The incident happened in Rydens Road, between Devoke Way, Ambleside Avenue and Meadowside at about 7.37am on Wednesday, September 5.
