The council’s pest control service has expanded to include moles.
In response to requests from residents and businesses suffering the damaging effects of molehills, Elmbridge Council’s pest control service has introduced new treatments.
Molehills can seriously affect gardens and business grounds and the tunnelling can cause underground damage.
Last year, a treatment for squirrel infestations in domestic lofts was added to the service’s repertoire.
Elmbridge’s head of environmental health and licensing Tony Deag said: “Although this is not a free service, our charges are very competitive with private pest control companies.”
