A budding Walton artist has set his sights on raising money for charity through his new collection of abstract art.
Mital Patel, who by day is an optometrist, will be the first to showcase his work at Kalula Cafe in the Wellington pub, Walton.
The venue is committed to helping local artists exhibit their works while raising money for charity and Mr Patel will donate 5 per cent of his sales to Vision Aids Overseas, which collects old frames for those in developing countries.
He said: “Art has been a passion of mine for more than 10 years and I am extremely excited to have my work displayed. I have tried to link art and sight together in the charity section of my website which I hope users will find informative.
“It shows how certain eye diseases can affect the way we see, and therefore see art and the website also goes to explain each eye disease.”
Visit mitalpatel-art.com for more information Mr Patel’s work.
