Traffic flow has returned to normal after an earlier broken down car on the M25 caused 12 miles of delays.
The car was been moved to the hard shoulder and all lanes have been reopened.
Journey times on the M25 clockwise between junctions 9 (Leatherhead) and 11 (Chertsey) had been increased by at least 30 minutes, Highways England stated.
The car had reportedly broken down at about 8am.
