Three men are wanted by police after a smash-and-grab burglary at Côte Brasserie in Cobham.

Surrey Police officers were called to the restaurant in the High Street at about 1am on Friday, September 23, after the men smashed the front door and stole a safe and alcohol.

The men drove away in a silver, high sided Ford van in the direction of Stoke D’Abernon.

Officers are not sure how much money was in the safe or whether anything else was taken.

The first suspect is described as mixed race or Asian with short black hair, and was wearing a royal blue long-sleeved hooded tracksuit top with a small white logo on the chest and white lines along both arms and the hood.

He also wore royal blue tracksuit bottoms, which had a small white logo on the left pocket and white lines down the outside of each leg and white or grey trainers.

The second man was wearing plain black tracksuit bottoms, a white top with black sleeves, a hi-visibility vest, a black beanie style hat and black gloves.

The third man wore a long-sleeved plain black jumper, grey tracksuit bottoms, light-coloured gloves and black trainers.

PC David Baldwin said: “Two of the suspects were wearing distinctive clothing and we’re hoping that someone may know who they are or saw their getaway van in the early hours of Friday morning.”
