A man in his 60s has been flown to a major trauma unit after catching his leg on garden machinery in West Molesey.
Paramedics from the Kent, Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance were called to the allotments at Beauchamp Road at 12.35pm earlier today.
The man, who is thought to be 65, caught his leg in a rotovator, a piece of machinery used to churn soil.
He was treated at the scene by air ambulance paramedics and medics from South East Coast Ambulance Service (Secamb), who sent two cars and one ambulance to the accident.
He was then flown to St George's Hospital by the air ambulance for further treatment.
