Brooklands Museum has illuminated its Mini Concorde in purple light to mark the beginning of pancreatic cancer month, on November 1.
The scale model of the Concorde that previously stood at the entrance to Heathrow is now in its take-off position at the gateway of the museum in Brooklands Drive with a purple fluorescent glow as part of Pancreatic Cancer UK’s initiative.
The event celebrates those who have survived the disease and is a memorial to those who have lost their lives to it.
