Sandown Park Racecourse has announced the winner of their Remembrance Sunday drawing competition as seven-year-old Jasper from Shrewsbury House School in Surbiton.
Jasper won over the team at the Esher-based racecourse by drawing a picture of his father who served in the army.
Children had been asked for to draw their hero.
Jasper chose his father because "he is brave, strong and thoughtful," he said.
The racecourse received more than 50 entries from schools including Tolworth Girls' School, Kingston Pre School and Kingston Day Nursery.
Jasper's prize was two tickets to the Countryside Race Day held on Remembrance Sunday.
