A volunteer whose brother-in-law was looked after by Princess Alice Hospice wants people to join the team.
The hospice wants to train as ward hospitality volunteers, supporting full-time staff.
Bertie Swan, a current volunteer from Walton, said: "The hospice took fantastic care of my late brother-in-law so I wanted to do something that would help support the wonderful Princess Alice nurses."
Eleanor Keenan from Leatherhead, said: "I'm pleased I'm able to support the nurses and kitchen staff so they can get on with other tasks. It's nice to feel a part of the hospice team."
