Surrey Police: Arrested one man
A man was arrested on suspicion of criminal damage and assault in West Molesey last night.
A Surrey Police spokesman said: “Surrey Police was called to an address in West Molesey on Thursday, January 22, followed a report of concern for safety.
“Officers attended and a man who was arrested at 5.18pm on suspicion of criminal damage and assault. He is in custody awaiting interview.”
People expressed concern on Facebook and Twitter as police cars were seen in the area.
Emma McDermid said: “Green Lane was blocked with a police van tonight about 5.30pm at the Molesey park road end with several police cars further down green lane.”
