A new sports session for young people with learning disabilities has been launched.
The charity Elmbridge Community Link holds sessions for people aged over 18.
The first session was on January 13 and volunteer Tricia Reynolds said: "It was very good. We did exercises and played badminton.
"We all enjoyed ourselves but we need more young people to come along."
Charity co-ordinator Pier Markham said: "We are running this in the evening because we recently conducted the biggest ever survey of people with learning disabilities in Elmbridge and people told us they wanted more to do in the evenings and weekends.
"They also said how much they enjoyed getting fit but there are so few specialist sports groups for people with learning disabilities."
The £5 sessions are on Tuesdays from 6pm to 8pm at Walton Youth Centre. To book a place call Pier on 07981 450320.
