A woman who suffered "life-threatening injuries" after being hit by a car last week is still in hospital.
The woman in her 70s was hit by a blue Vauxhall Vectra near the BP garage in Hersham Road, Walton on the evening of Thursday, October 23.
A spokesman for Surrey Police said: "The woman in her 70s remains in hospital in a stable condition receiving medical treatment for her injuries.
"Enquires into the circumstances surrounding the collision are ongoing."
After being struck by the car, the elderly pedestrian was taken as a priority to St George's Hospital with injuries to her head and leg by the South East Coast Ambulance Service.
