Downside village: Has a new sign
Following a new Downside resident remarking on the lack of a village sign, a two-year project to create one was finally completed when the mayor and Dominic Raab MP for Esher and Walton attended the unveiling ceremony on Monday, October 13.
The new sign stands on the corner of Downside Road and Chilbrook Road, and features the village's listed hand-operated water pump.
