Three men have been found guilty of conspiracy to commit robbery of a Cobham jewellery store in 2012.

Stephen Evers, 42, and Damon Denham and Eugene Gunderman, both 27, will be sentenced at Guildford Crown Court on August 14.

The balaclava-clad burglars forced their way into Mark Reid's house in October 2012, before putting a pillowcase over his head and stealing various items.

They then drove the  owner of Gordon Marks jewellery store to the shop he owns in Cobham High Street.

While the burglars were in the process of stealing goods from the shop, the victim managed to escape out into the high street and raise the alarm.

The incident took place on Sunday, October 14 2012.

The three men were arrested on suspicion of robbery and kidnap in February 2013.

Gunderman pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit robbery when he appeared at Guildford Crown Court on July 21.

Evers and Denham denied the same charge but were found guilty today at the end of a week-long trial.

Gunderman and Denham from Windsor, and Evers from Feltham have had their charges for kidnapping kept on file.
