A vet has been recognised for going above and beyond the call of duty to care for animals at her clinic in Walton.
Henrietta Fidler, who works at Beech House Veterinary Centre in Queen’s Road, was crowned support staff of the year by insurers Petplan.
She said: “I’m absolutely overwhelmed and thrilled. I’d like to say thank you to all our clients who have supported me.”
The gong was presented former MP and dictionary corner regular Gyles Brandreth.
Suzanne Cheadle, of awards sponsor Petplan, said: “Henrietta is a shining example of the exceptional service that vet support staff deliver to clients and their pets throughout the country.”
