A Cobham garden centre has chosen the Surrey branch of the National Autistic Society as their charity of the year.
Squires, in Stoke Road, will raise money for the charity until September next year through in-store events and collection boxes.
The charity will also benefit from donations from shoppers that will go directly to them to help support their work.
Sarah Squire, deputy chairman of Squires, said: “We’re delighted to be supporting the Surrey branch of the National Autistic Society as our charity of the year, chosen by our staff at Cobham because they are passionate about supporting the local community.”
Proceeds from the in-store Santa’s Grotto, which opens on November 30, will be among the events donating to the charity.
