Film director Sam Taylor-Wood has placed one of her designer coats up for auction.
The director of hit movie Nowhere Boy, who was born in Croydon, has given up a Marc Jacob mint green alpaca and virgin wool coat as part of a campaign Wrap Up Against Poverty.
Organised by charity Elizabeth Finn Care Taylor-Wood, who has just become a mother for a fourth child and second with partner Aaron Johnson, joins other celebrity donors such as Katie Price, George Lamb and Fearne Cotton The starting price for the coat, which has been placed on eBay, has been set at £45, with bidding continuing to Sunday February 19.
Money raised from the Wrap Up Against Poverty auctions will help more people in financial need in the UK buy essential clothing.
Malcolm Tyndall, Director at Elizabeth Finn Care, said: "We hope that, with the generous support of top celebrities and the fashion industry, not to mention an incredibly enthusiastic public, Wrap Up Against Poverty 2012 will enable us to help even more people find and access the help they desperately need."
